Practice
Reading about the path helps, but nothing replaces sitting down. Pick one session below — the point is consistency, not duration.
The foundational session. Follow the breath, notice when you've wandered, return.
Move attention slowly through the body. Good for restlessness or before sleep.
Metta practice: extending goodwill outward, starting with yourself.
For restless days. Slow, deliberate steps, attention on the feet and ground.
Before you begin
Chair, cushion, or floor — whatever keeps your spine upright without straining. Hands resting in your lap or on your knees. Eyes closed, or soft and lowered.
You will get distracted. That's not a failure — noticing it and returning to the breath is the entire practice, every single time.
